Rosehip Extract 20:1

Description

Rosehip Extract come from the Rosa Rubiginosa and can be found in Europe, North Africa, and parts of Asia.

They are extensively cultivated and the fruits (or hips) are oval and scarlet in colour, and taste sweet and acidulous.

The fruit itself contains vitamins, including Vitamin A, C, and K, Thiamine, Riboflavine and Niacin and is also rich in flavonoids, such as rutin, invert sugar, pectin, plant acids, and traces of essential oil.

Rosehip extract is used medicinally for its astringent and anti-diarrhoeal properties, and as a source of vitamin C.

This product has been validated as Food Grade and is a 20:1 extract.
